NAME: Spencer

AKA: Suspenders, Spence, Big Spender, Spenny, Little Dude.

AGE: Almost 6 years old.

BREED/DESCRIPTION: Golden Retriever.

LIKES: Carrying around his Kong, chasing his Kong, fetching his Kong, playing tug with his Kong, the pool, any available puddle, getting really, really dirty, tug of war.

DISLIKES: Not having a Kong on his person at ALL times.

Mr. Suspenders loves Kongs. No, really. This dude LOVES his Kong. The instant he arrives in daycare, he gets a Kong, and doesn't drop it until the end of the day when it's time to get on the bus! Spence is as sweet as strawberry pie, and as handsome as anything. He rides the bus to daycare every single day, and carries his Kong proudly on the large dog side. When not totally Kong focused, he does enjoy a dip in the pool or some love from his human AFD buddies! Suspenders is the man. Believe it.

BUBBLES! The AFD Featured Dog of the Week.

NAME: Bubbles
AKA: Bubs, Bubalicious, Monsieur Bublay, The B Man, Mr. Popular.
AGE: Poodle Mix.
BREED/DESCRIPTION: White and Curly and Totally Hardcore.
LIKES: Playing, being chased, jumping in and out of the pool, getting dirty, everybody!
DISLIKES: Not being a part of the action.

Bubbles is a fairly new dog to us here at AFD. He originally started as a board and train, but quickly became an every day daycare favorite. We don't think there is a dog in the world Mr. Popular couldn't get along with. When he plays, he PLAYS. Amazingly, he still has energy left after leaving a trail of exhausted dogs in his wake at the end of the day. He's become such a mainstay on the small dog side that we just don't know what we'd do without him! Rock on, Bubs. You're the bees knees.

This Week's Featured Dog....BUDHA!!

NAME: Budha
AKA: Budha-Buns, Budha-Bootay, Snortbucket, Princess of Love, Miss Precious.
AGE: Four and a Half.
BREED/DESCRIPTION: Bulldog, Brown and White.
LIKES: Going to Cheri's house, chasing Jolly Balls and barking at them, playing with puppies, getting love from ANYBODY, acting disinterested while people oooh and ahhhh over her in the pet store, Cubs baseball, vacationing in Provence, doing whatever she wants whenever she wants.
DISLIKES: Being in playgroup without Cheri, when Cheri cuddles with others, getting her Jolly Ball stuck in a corner, when people don't double down on eleven.
MOTTO: The world is my oyster!

Budha is our newest regular daycare girl, ruling the school in Cheri's bus. She became an instant favorite at AFD for her sweet, lovey personality and her ridiculously adorable snorts. Seriously. We have never heard anything like the sounds this girl can come up with. She loves everybody, everybody loves her and she has even captured the heart of Trainer Rich. She'll give you a wave with her front paw when she wants your lovin'!

Budha rocks. That's all there is to it.

Jinxy & The Rockers launch world tour

Jinxy & the Rockers have set out on a world wide tour hitting stops in Asia, Europe, South America, and Antartica. Ever since their debut album "Appetite for Kibble" the rockers have been bringing their infectious rhythms to fans across the globe. However, after the "no sleep till naptime" tour in 2001, keyboard wizard and costume genius Reagan, who wrote some of the bands most controversial songs, "cats are not that bad," "bark bark ruff," and "bring on the biscuits," abruptly left the group and joined a monastery in Peru. Remaining members Jinx and Foxy Sadie both released solo albums, but without the chemistry of the original group, fans were left feeling shortchanged. Now after a five year hiatus, all three original members have decided it is time to bring the music back to the people. With Jinx on guitar and lead vocals, Reagan on keys and background vocals, and Sadie on drums, bass, viola, cello, harpsichord, turntables, flute, and harmonica we can all rest assured that the Rock is not far off.
