Meet Miguel!

Miguel is the man behind the scenes at AFD. Basically, Miguel does EVERYTHING one man can possibly do to help keep our center running smoothly. He does everything from kennel duties to maintenance work to play groups with the dogs. He is the King of Power Washing and he keeps everything squeaky clean for the pups. Miguel is also a certified groom tech, so he may be bathing the dogs on any given day. Oh, and the dogs LOVE Miguel. Rest assured, your pup is in good hands with Miguel. He treats every dog as if it is his own. Thanks for all the hard work, Miguel.

Anti-cruelty Contest!

There is a little contest that I found that the Anti-Cruelty Society in Chicago is in the running for. The top 5 will receive $600 worth of bully sticks for the rescue dogs. There is no registration required to vote. Check it out to vote!

Welcome Back to Daycare!

We are happy to welcome Charlie back to daycare! We had not seen him in quite some time, so we were pleasantly surprised when dad dropped him off for camp this week. We definitely miss his energy in the play yard. We're excited to be seeing you again, Charlie. (Oh, and you too, Lucy. She was so happy she had to sneak into the picture as well. )
