Harry! AFD Featured Dog o' the Week!

NAME: Harry
AKA: Harry-Bo-Berry, E.L. Harry, Harryheimerschnitzelbuns, Harry Happy Pants.
AGE: Almost 2 years.
LIKES: His brothers Jake and Bear, stealing Jake's kong in the morning, wrestling, holding super secret black lab meetings, receiving compliments.
DISLIKES: When Cheri tells him to give Jake his kong back in the morning, that girl dog that gives him dirty looks down the block, and circus peanuts.


Harry is a relatively new addition at AFD, and we all agree, he's a pretty cool little dude. He loves to wrestle with his brothers and buddies, and never gets into trouble. He fits in at AFD so well, you'd think he's been coming for years. Harry you're our dog of the week because we adore the spring in your step, the gleam in your eyes, and you're winning bright white smile!

We have so many big beautiful Black Labs here at AFD, and these guys are three of our favorites. Clockwise from the top left, that's Harry, Fletch and Jake. Good lookin' boys!!

Eddie the Springer Spaniel, a total daycare champ. He loves everybody, and everybody loves him. And boy howdy, does he love the pool!

Summer may be almost over, but daycare's going strong!

We have a lot of new dogs to introduce this week, so why don't we start with this little sweet thing. Her name is Kismet, and she's a Puggle puppy. She's our very first GIRL puggle, and we couldn't be more excited about her. The boy puggles welcomed her in fine style on her first day!

Another new kid on the block, Harry the Black Lab. He's still just a young 'un, and he takes to daycare and all his new buddies like a chimp to bananas. He's having a blast!

And speaking of bananas, meet Bananas! He's a an adorable ShihTzu who's actually been coming on the bus for a couple months, but we just got a photo this week. Check him out. SO CUTE!!

And Bananas snuck into this photo with our new guy Cosmo. He is a total champ in the yard, and the king of all 'chase me' games. He can run like the wind, but we somehow got him to hold still for a second and captured his handsome mug on film.

Goodbye, Russell Sprout! It just won't be the same without you.

Let the lights of All For Doggies be dimmed and the daycare dogs wear black crepe collars. Our darlin' Russell is no longer coming on the bus every single blessed day. Changes in the family led them to a tough decision, and daycare was no longer an option. Total and complete bummer for us, becuase we love this little guy to pieces. He is the Big Man on the yard, the dude in charge of daycare. Don't let his small stature fool you, everyone defers to this guy. We hope against hope that he'll come back someday, just for a visit or a snuggle, but until then, we'll miss him like the dickens. Take good care, Mr. Russell!

And BEAR! Who looks like a master yogi when he puts his bottom high in the air for extra skritches around the tail. And then he gives you a big happy smile. Irresistible!

Fiona!!! AFD Featured Dog of the Week

NAME: Fiona
AKA: Fi-Fi, Fetus, Fiona Apple, Feets, Fi
BREED: A beautifully mixed mutt with you guess is as good as ours
AGE: a little over 2 years
LIKES: Wheaton Terriers, pool, running after her pals, running from the bus to the play yard, tug of war, snatching the Kong from our hands
DISLIKES: Hardcore metal, spinach, not getting what she wants, Fraiser

Fiona has been coming to us since the tender age of four months. She is a active little girl who loves to play with just about anyone. She is always so eager to come to daycare in the mornings that she pulls us to the van. Fiona is interested in everything and anything that you might have. She enjoys diving in the pool after the Kong and teasing the other dogs with a, "Look what I have." Yet, here favorite past time is to chase our Wheaton Terriers around, especially Sophie J. Happy Wheaton chasing Fiona!

Its a beautiful week for Daycare.
